  • Water-Cooled Condenser


The main purpose is to remove scale, sediment, and impurities inside the tubes.


Cleaning Steps:


  • Stop the chiller and disconnect the power.
  • Close the cooling water inlet and outlet valves.
  • Drain the water from the condenser.
  • Mechanical cleaning:Use a tube brush or water flushing to clean the tubes.
  • Chemical descaling:For heavy scale, use a professional descaling agent suitable for copper tubes.
  • Flush with clean water,Thoroughly remove any chemical residue.Check for leakage and restart the chiller.



Do not use concentrated hydrochloric acid directly.It may corrode the copper tubes and cause leakage.


  • Air-Cooled Condenser


The main contaminants are dust, oil, and plastic particles.


  • Compressed air:Blow the dust from the inside outward.
  • Coil cleaner:For heavy oil contamination.
  • Fin comb:Straighten bent fins.



Avoid high-pressure water:It can damage or bend the fins.



When to Clean?


Inspect the condenser if you notice:


  • High condensing pressureHigh-pressure alarm
  • Reduced cooling capacity
  • Increased compressor current
  • High condensing temperature


Inspect every 3–6 months


In areas with poor water quality or high dust levels, more frequent cleaning is recommended.


Keeping the condenser clean improves heat transfer efficiency, maintains cooling capacity, and reduces energy consumption.
