Why do injection molding machines choose air-cooled chillers?

Principle: The fan drives air to flow through the condenser fins, dissipating heat into the air (no external water source required).
Advantages:
Easy installation: No need for cooling towers, pumps, or pipes, takes up less space, and is easy to move.
Wide application scenarios: Especially suitable for water-scarce areas, small and medium-sized workshops, such as small injection molding machine chillers.
Simple maintenance: No cooling water system, reducing problems like scale and pipe blockage.
Limitations:
Heat dissipation efficiency is greatly affected by ambient temperature: In summer when the temperature is high (ambient > 35°C), the cooling capacity may decrease by 10% to 20%.
Slightly higher noise: The fan operation generates some noise, not suitable for noise-sensitive places (such as laboratories, medical equipment).
Slightly higher energy consumption: Compared to water-cooled chillers, the power consumption is about 5% to 15% higher for the same cooling capacity.
Suitable applicants:
Small and medium-sized plastic machine, such as injection molding machine and extruder machine, laser equipment, small electroplating tanks, laboratory instruments, and temporary outdoor cooling needs.
